The YachtMate philosophy is to be friendly and personal, we only use a core of yacht skippers and crew that are not only exceptional yacht skippers but also experienced project managers who will guide through the whole process from the initial quotation to the final handover, keeping you fully informed on all aspects of the delivery and progress.

The YachtMate team has taken different styles of yachts to numerous destinations worldwide, from this wealth of experience we are able to give accurate quotations and estimated timescales immediately. We offer 3 main types of quotation:

• Skippers daily rate – this is for owners who wish to have a professional skipper to assist them in making a passage, the owner/agent will provide a suitable crew and all food/fuel expenses.
• All-inclusive daily rate - this daily rate includes a skipper, first mate and necessary crew and their provisions. Fuel, mooring and travel expenses will be invoiced separately.
• All-inclusive fixed price quotation - a one-off price that includes everything!

Regardless of the trip, Yachtmate will always provide, in addition to any boat safety equipment, a satellite phone for updating yacht position and giving our skippers detailed weather information from our shore side support, basic maintenance kit, tools, EPIRB and emergency radio.
